Our Cute FTP configuration tutorial shows how to setup Cute FTP 2.0 for your Web2010 account. To configure Cute FTP 2.0, follow the simple instructions below.
Open Cute FTP and choose
"FTP" from the menu bar.
Choose "Site Manager".
We will use the example of an account with Web2010 with
the following account info:
Domain name: xyz.com
Userid: abcdefg
IP Address: 255.255.255.255
What if I do not know my IP address? Click here for a simple utility that will give you the IP address of your website.
Click on the button, "Add site".
Now, in the dialog box, "Edit Host", choose the "General" tab. Then fill in the boxes as follows:
Site Label: xyz.com - Web2010 account
Host Address: 255.255.255.255
User ID: abcdefg
Host Type: Unix
Then click on "OK".
